Bruce is entering his 23rd season with the Oakville Longhorns, his 10th as the Offensive Coordinator. His other 13 seasons were as the Head Coach. He has been part of all 13 Provincial Championships won by the Longhorns including their impressive run of 11 straight Championships. He was also involved in all 3 National Championships won by the Oakville Longhorns.

Bruce started with the Oakville Longhorns in 1986, and has twice been NFC Coach of the year. He was also inducted into the NFC Hall of Fame in 1991. His only coaching stint in the NFC outside of the Longhorns was the 2005 season, where he was the Offensive Coordinator for the Milton Marauders and helped guide them to an undefeated season.
