The Oakville Longhorns concluded their Northern Football Conference regular-season schedule Sunday with a 25-0 loss to the Tri-City Outlaws.

Oakville was limited to 175 yards of offence in the contest, including only 109 through the air. The game, however, had little consequence in the NFC standings as the Longhorns were virtually assured a fourth-place finish and home field in the first round of the playoffs.

Tommy Denison, Michael Hyatt and Josh Spanik all saw action at quarterback for the Longhorns, while Rick Rodrigues was the team's leading receiver with three catches for 31 yards. Dan Seymour collected 40 rushing yards on eight attempts.

Defensively, the Longhorns yielded only 186 yards of their own. Liston Bates had three tackles and Stafford Wilson intercepted a pass for Oakville.

Jeff Westrop was the Outlaws' offensive star, catching three passes for 90 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown reception. Tri-City's points came on three touchdowns, a field goal, two converts and a safety.

The Longhorns will host the North Bay Bulldogs in one of four NFC quarter-final contests this weekend. Game time at Bronte Athletic Field is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday.
